Wed 2nd November

Another HUGE day for EUSWPC with every team from both swimming and water polo having a match at home.
First off we had the swimming, with both the first and second team vs Stirling. Stirling came in full force bringing the likes of olympians and scholarship swimmers in their team. Such a strong effort from the club and their three swimmers who took part but unfortunately ending in a loss to Stirling.
Then both the men and the women first water polo teams played Loughborugh. The women absolutely dominated their game winning 24-7, with a really strong attack from the girls. The men also smashed their first BUCS win 14-5 and the team played really great together.
The mens seconds played Glasgow in a really tough and close game but walked away with a win 14-12. The captain Andrew Bryce said they “kept score close to keep the fans on their toes”
Last off we had the womens seconds playing Aberdeen. Another super win 18-8 from the girls, with a lot of the players (including some of the new ones) scoring goals. Really good teamwork and effort from the girls.
We ended Wednesday with 4/4 water polo wins. Thanks to everyone who helped out.
